DBIT LLC

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DBIT handles information across our website, software applications, and related services.

Scope

DBIT LLC ("DBIT," "we," "us," or "our") provides dbitllc.com, ChurchService, SyCon Graph, wireless and operational web tools, and other applications and services we make available. This policy applies to those offerings unless a product presents a separate privacy notice that supplements or replaces it.

Our applications are generally designed to operate with information stored on a device, server, or environment controlled by the customer. Information does not become DBIT-held information merely because it is processed by a DBIT application.

Information you provide to DBIT

When you contact us, request services, submit a form, purchase or evaluate a product, or ask for support, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, organization, service area, project timeline, account or licensing details, and other information you choose to share. We use it to respond, provide requested products and services, support customers, secure our systems, and manage our business relationship.

If you send us application files, diagnostics, screenshots, media, configuration data, or other content for support, we use that material to investigate and resolve the request. You should avoid sending information that is not needed for support.

Information handled by DBIT applications

ChurchService

ChurchService stores service documents, library content, settings, and recovery information on your device. Imported media may remain in locations you select. The application does not require a DBIT account, and service documents and library content are not sent to DBIT by the application unless you choose to provide them to us, such as for support.

If you preview or play YouTube content, ChurchService loads it through Microsoft Edge WebView2. Google and its providers may receive your IP address, device or browser information, cookies, and player interactions under the Google Privacy Policy. WebView2 may retain browser data on your device. The optional local livestream overlay makes current overlay text available to software connecting on your own computer while that feature is enabled.

SyCon Graph

SyCon Graph is designed for deployment in a customer-controlled environment. Depending on the features you configure, it may process asset and network information such as hostnames, IP and MAC addresses, operating system and hardware details, installed software, services, relationships, monitoring results, logs, credentials or connection settings, and configuration-management records. This information is used to discover, document, monitor, and administer the systems you direct the application to manage.

SyCon Graph data remains in the storage and infrastructure you control unless you intentionally transmit it to DBIT, enable an external integration, or use a third-party service. Administrators are responsible for choosing authorized targets, credentials, retention settings, integrations, and access permissions.

Other DBIT applications

Other desktop, server, and web applications may store documents, settings, operational records, survey or location data, logs, and recovery information on the device or service where they are deployed. Features that connect to devices, websites, APIs, identity providers, or other services transmit the information needed to perform the requested operation. Product documentation and in-product notices may provide more specific details.

Website technical information and cookies

Our website, applications, and hosting providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or client type, device information, requested pages or endpoints, timestamps, authentication events, and error or security logs. We use this information to deliver, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot our services.

Cookies or similar local storage may be used for essential functions such as authentication, session state, preferences, and security. DBIT does not use its public website for behavioral advertising and does not currently use third-party visitor analytics. If these practices materially change, we will update this policy.

Third-party services

Some offerings can connect to third-party services selected by you, including video platforms, hosting and infrastructure providers, identity systems, email or notification services, device-management systems, and other integrations. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. DBIT is not responsible for independent third-party privacy practices.

Sharing, retention, and security

We may share information with providers that help us operate our website, deliver products, process business communications, or support customers; when necessary to provide a service you request; during a business transaction; to protect rights, safety, and system security; or when required by law. We do not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We retain DBIT-held information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including customer support, business records, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Customer-controlled application data follows the retention and deletion practices configured by the customer or available in the product.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Customers are responsible for protecting their installations, accounts, credentials, networks, and backups.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us to ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you provided directly to DBIT, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. You can manage or remove locally stored application content using the product, operating system, and your own file-management and backup practices. Removing an application does not necessarily remove files saved elsewhere.

Privacy rights vary by location. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If DBIT processes information solely for a customer using our software or services, your request may need to be directed to that customer as the organization controlling the information.

Children and third-party links

Our website, business services, and applications are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to DBIT, please contact us. Links and embedded services are governed by the applicable third parties' policies.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our products, services, or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@dbitllc.com or use the contact form on this website.
